What Do You Know
About the Man?
______________
Terry L.

"Becoming a man
is not a one-time decision or event.
I
t's something you have to choose
every day
."
~ Dr. John Score;

Along those same lines, we should not assess a man's character based on a microscopic examination of a one-time act of his.

Instead, it is imperative that we base our evaluation upon a collection of evidence we gather through the long lens that reveals the pattern of his behavior throughout his life.

There is a difference between a man who commits an unforgiveable act and a man of unforgiveable character.

What matters is not what people have done but who they are.

A man might go through his entire life never putting a foot wrong, and do nothing outward to which the world would vociferously object, and yet that same man might be rotten to the core, full of self-righteous pride, hate in his heart and never once providing for others but only himself.

Another man might, yes, stumble and fall -- and do so in a very embarrassing and shameful way.  Yet, other than that one poor decision and awful action that he grieves over and has apologized for a hundred times,

this man's lifetime -- when examined wholly -- has been defined as one of endless self-sacrifice and service to his family and community.

You tell me, who is the "better" man whose company you'd prefer to keep?
