_______
My Arne Loves Sonic!

Arne says,
Arne at Sonic
orders his Tater Tots

"I love riding in Daddy's truck to the Sonic whenever he's done working in the yard.
It's our reward!

First, we go to see Mr. Carwash (an evil monster that tries to attack us while we're in the truck) and then we go to Sonic.

At Sonic Daddy lets me order my Tater Tots and I get patted on the head by cute girls who bring us our food."

Farm Animals

Meet Cinnamon & Coco
A set of twins born during a
torrential rainstorm.

WALTER

is the grandpappy in my family of
Tennessee Fainting Goats
we have in the pasture.  As you know,
these are characterized by myotonia congenita,
a hereditary condition that causes them to
"lock up and fall over"
when excited or startled.

It can be quite humorous!

As you see in the pic,

Walter is one of the few of us --

including myself --

who actually

enjoys Kale!

Pictured here also are MARTHA and HENRIETTA.

Ralph my rooster.
Thinks he's hotstuff!

Tina and Alice my girls
strutting their stuff!

Arne

January
 2021
I drove with my friend Chad to Corsicana to pick up the new addition to my home

- my 6 wk. old long-haired dachshund
that I named Arne!

Arne is the most affectionate dog I've ever owned.  I love him so much!

He is the first one at the bottom of the litter

In Memoriam

Gone, but not forgotten.

Brutus my Schnauzer

Mr. J.J. my Jack Russell

Boo my Lhasa Apso

HENNY PENNY
was my pet chicken as a child.   The hen lived to about 8 or 9 years before passing - likely of a heart attack I caused.  Each day when I went out to feed, the other chickens would scurry to a corner in the chickenyard, but not Henny Penny!  She'd come right up to my feet and squat and sit.  After broadcasting a can full of chicken feed for the others, I would then kneel and she'd eat from the palms of my hands.

She grew to be quite large.  When I was around 13 she died.  I buried her in our pet cemetery and made a wooden cross for her grave and today a white stone can be found along the west fence line of the pasture where she was laid.
