" I became a Republican because of my belief that a man could set his own destiny, defend his own family, live his own life, and leave others alone to live theirs.
Yet, what I've seen from Trump's MAGA extremists in the Republican Party is an attempt to control every aspect of Americans' lives - including their reproductive decisions, private activity in their bedrooms, how they choose to worship, and what they're allowed to read. It's ridiculous!
But there's something much worse and insidious about Trump's disciples - their criminal activity in the 2020 election, at our nation's capitol January 6 2021, and obstinate refusal to admit their wrongdoing. What a horrible example these sore losers presented to our nation's children.
The whining, weak, victim mentality of the MAGA movement is one of the most transparently sad, snowflakey, and pitiful movements really in American history...
The MAGA movement has become an infectious disease of helplessness and victimhood unlike any I can remember. Donald Trump himself is a master victim, suing everyone, everything, yelling loudly about how he is a poor victim of the 'deep state,' Rinos, DOJ, FBI, China, Germany, Mars, the sun, and any other possible force of nature..."

Trump attorney Kenneth Chesebro
takes plea deal in
election interference case
Kenneth Chesebro, a key co-defendant in former President Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case, has taken a last-minute plea deal in which he has agreed to testify in the case.
Chesebro pleaded guilty to a single felony charge of conspiracy to commit filing of false documents and will receive five years' probation and a $5,000 fine, in exchange for agreeing to testify and provide documents and evidence. Specifically, Chesebro coordinated and executed a plan to have 16 Georgia Republicans sign a certificate declaring falsely that Trump won the state and declaring themselves the state’s “duly elected and qualified” electors.
Chesebro is also a co-conspirator in an indictment filed against Trump by Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith. Chesebro and Trump operatives “assisted in devising and attempting to implement a plan to submit fraudulent slates of presidential electors to obstruct the certification proceeding.”
Did you hear Trump’s former attorney Jenna Elllis’ own attorney admit that Ellis only changed her plea to Guilty after the surprise guilty pleas by Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro.
“I think what really accelerated it was Powell and Chesebro falling as they did, one right after the other. It looked like timing was of the essence for us,” Hogue told the Journal-Constitution.
Oh, so let me get this straight, she was going to continue to feign her innocence until she realized her continued lies would be made plain and evident by the testimony of her co-conspirators! Geez!
A tearful Ellis, 39, pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings last week, becoming the fourth of 19 defendants to admit a role in the plot by Trump and his allies to keep him in office.
She avoided a trial and the possibility of up to a five-year prison sentence. Her cooperating with prosecutors could include her testifying against Trump in his upcoming trial on 13 charges including racketeering, forgery, perjury, filing false documents and false statements.

Trump election conspiracist Tina Peters
sentenced to 9 years in prison
- Former Mesa County, Colorado, clerk Tina Peters was sentenced to nine years in prison for crimes related to a breach of her county's voting system.
- Peters espoused the false conspiracy theory that Donald Trump lost the 2020 election to President Joe Biden due to ballot fraud.
- She was accused of allowing access to the voting system to an "expert" affiliated with My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell, a leading proponent of the Trump election conspiracy theory.
A former Colorado county election official has been sentenced to nine years in prison for tampering with voting machines after the 2020 presidential election.
Tina Peters, a Republican, was convicted last August on
most counts against her in the election interference case.
Peters helped breach Mesa County's election computer
systems and allowed an unauthorized individual who worked for My Pillow CEO Mike Lindell to access voting equipment and
election records.
She carried out the breach amid unsubstantiated claims that
mass voter fraud had caused former President Donald Trump to lose the White
House in the last presidential election.
Peters became a well-known figure among fellow election
deniers who believed the 2020 presidential election was rigged and was stolen
from Trump.
She pleaded not guilty to all counts in 2022. A jury
convicted her on seven of the 10 counts in which she was charged.
Those include three counts of attempting to influence a
public servant, one count of conspiracy to commit criminal impersonation,
first-degree official misconduct, violation of duty and failing to comply with
the secretary of state.
A judge sentenced Peters to eight and a half years in the
Colorado Department of Corrections and additional time in the Mesa County
Detention Center.
"Tina Peters has been sentenced to nine years of
incarceration for her dangerous attempts to break into her own election
equipment to prove Trump's 'Big Lie'," Colorado Secretary of State Jena
Griswold said in a statement. "We will not allow anyone to threaten our
elections."
The case marks the first time a local election official was
prosecuted over a security beach in the 2020 election.
Prosecutors said Peters helped breach the county's election
computer systems and allowed an unauthorized individual to access voting
equipment and election records. The person posted secure election equipment
images online.
Peters became "fixated" on voting problems after
the presidential election, prosecutors said.
Investigators also issued a search warrant for MyPillow
founder Mike Lindell, a proponent of election fraud claims, in connection to
Peters' case.
