| This is my small tree display on the credenza and my theme this year: Mom's Angels. These were all her ornaments. Appropriately, I made a round photo ornament of her standing beside her own angel, Dolly, and placed it in the center of the tree. |

| This little gold tree I annually display on my kitchen bar. This year, I was so pleased to find this ornament that I gifted my parents in 2005. Leave it to Mom to write the year on the back of it! And so, how cool to pull it out 20 years later! I miss them both, especially so at the holidays. |

| Arne and I headed out on our annual trip to PetSmart so he could pick out his stocking stuffers. This year's obsession - found immediately upon arrival and there was no other interest beyond - Mr Green Crocodile |

Much of the preparation for my exterior and interior holiday decor takes place on this bench. I enjoy having the yard space to lay everything out -- and Arne gets to enjoy the day and wreck havoc on the ornaments and lights!
I'm often asked, where do I get the energy to go through this every year? It's true, it is a lot of work and takes a lot of time.
Do you see that glass mug of green tea on the stand beside the bench?
That's the secret! Lots and lots of green tea!
